New International Person of Leather Named in February 4th, 2017

Las Vegas, Nevada – February 6, 2017 – The beginning of February saw slave Adeena of the Heartland region, sashed as the 2017 International Person of Leather. Highlights of the contest this year amazing stage presence, diversity of fantasies, and powerful speeches. First Runner Up was ABizzy South East Person of Leather 2016.

Co-Founder of the International Person of Leather Contest, slave Jazz, said, “In a 2017 class of very diverse contestants, slave adeena stood on an exceedingly clear platform. I look forward to witnessing what she does with the title and how she spreads her message this year."

Mr. Andrew Love, Co-Founder of the International Person of Leather Contest said, “I was am pleased to see the growth and evolution of the contest and the continued quality of contestants.”

Regional Producer Master Patrice had this to say, “We at Heartland Person of Leather are so proud of slave Adeena. She has worked tirelessly during an extended title year to represent Heartland Person of Leather. Her growth as a Leather woman has been phenomenal. We can hardly wait to see what she will accomplish as International Person of Leather 2017! Congratulations slave Adeena”

When asked about our outgoing title hold slave Jazz also added, “As an Executive Producer, I am so very grateful to Shahrazad for the amazing amount of work and travel she accomplished in her title year. Not only did she travel to Europe THREE times as International Person of Leather 2016, she helped to set up and plan Hungary's first BDSM conference and got to attend it as well. She has been a whirlwind this past year, and did the title proud."

About International Person of Leather (InterPOL):

The International Person of Leather Contest is a celebration of the diversity in the Leather community. The title of Person of Leather exists to promote that diversity.

International Person of Leather is a community service title. We see that the leather community consists of extremely diverse people with a common thread throughout, that thread being Leather culture.

Each year, a single International Person of Leather will be selected not based on gender-identity, sexual-orientation, race, physical appearance, age, or disability, but rather on their ability to articulate their views, passions, and dedications and to make an impact in their communities. We will expect these People of Leather to act as mentors, educators, role models and spokespeople throughout their title year.

The goal of the International Person of Leather is to promote and celebrate the diversity of Leather Culture both regionally and internationally throughout the alternative sex-positive community on behalf of the International Person of Leather Contest.
